Olympus E-M1 Firmware V4.1 and E-M5II Firmware V2.20 Released

Olympus released a new firmware update for the flagship OM-D E-M1 and the mid-range OM-D E-M5 Mark II mirrorless camera models.

The firmware update version 4.1 for OM-D E-M1 adds improvement to the stability of the image stabilizer’s operations and fixes the problem in which the external flash would not fire when shooting in RC mode.

The firmware update version 2.20 for E-M5 Mark II adds improvement to the stability of the image stabilizer’s operations. The new firmware update details and download links can be seen below.

Olympus E-M1 Firmware V4.1 and E-M5II Firmware V2.20 Details

The Olympus OM-D E-M1 mirrorless camera is a compact, ergonomically designed MFT model featuring a 16.3 megapixel Live MOS sensor and TruePic VII image processor.

The Olympus E-M5 Mark II camera boasts a 40MP high resolution shot mode, achieved by shifting the sensor in half-pixel steps and capturing eight images over a period of one second.
