Similar to the new XF 23mm F2 R WR and existing XF 35mm F2R WR models, this lens features a compact, lightweight and stylish appearance. It creates a new “compact prime trio” range within the complete lineup of interchangeable lenses for “X Series” digital cameras.

The XF 80mm F2.8 R LM OIS WR is the X series’ first 1:1 macro interchangeable lens. This mid-telephoto macro lens gives the field of view equivalent to 122mm. It is weather and dust-resistant.

The optic can be mounted with a teleconverter as a telephoto macro lens. It is equivalent to 171mm in the 35mm film format with the 1.4x teleconverter. And equivalent to 244mm (in the 35mm film format) with the 2x teleconverter. The optic covers macro photography from mid-telephoto to telephoto range. It also features high-performance image stabilization.
