The rumor mill is claiming that the Nikon 1 J6 announcement is scheduled to take place at the CP+ 2017 show in February.
Nikon is preparing to replace the 1 J5 mirrorless camera with a new model. It is expected to follow up the previous camera. Even the specs of the upcoming MILC is unknown at the moment we expect minor changes.
Nikon 1 J5 will be replaced by the Nikon 1 J6 soon, a new camera with improved 4K video recording support and SnapBridge technology.

A new mirrorless camera is preparing to enter the fray and it is the Nikon 1 J6. The Japan-based company will reveal the new shooter sometime in early 2017, a trusted source says.
The 1 J5 is a nifty camera in a compact package capable of high-speed shooting. The specs list includes capabilities such as 4K video recording (at 15fps), Full HD movie capture at 60fps and high-speed filming in HD resolution at 120fps..
Nikon is planning to take it to the next level in the 1 J5 successor. They might improve the 4K video recording feature and add Snapbridge technology. It’s currently unknown if the sensor will remain 20.8-megapixel 1-inch-type.
