Fuji X-T3 will be a mini Sony A9 and feature 20fps burst

Looks like the upcoming Fujifilm X-T3 mirrorless camera will be a mini Sony A9. The flagship APS-c shooter is said to feature a high-speed burst speed at 20fps in CH mode and even faster in crop mode.

Fuji is expected to announce three new models prior to the Photokina 2018 show. The most exciting one is sure the flagship Fujifilm X-T3 camera which is said to feature a 26-megapixel stacked sensor.

stacked sensor dedicates a layer to collect the image data and a layer dedicated to processing that data, which allows high-resolution cameras to perform at faster rates. This technology is one of the reasons the Sony A9 ($4,498) is able to achieve 20fps burst speeds. So we can foresee that the Fuji X-T3 might provide 20fps burst speed if it features this sensor.

We already know that the MILC registered in China under the codename FF180003 (FCCID: COF – WMBNBM 26A). This means that it will be made in China and definitely feature built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.

The Fujifilm X-T2 currently goes up to 11fps (with vertical booster grip) and 14fps with electronic shutter. We can expect faster autofocus and burst with better video performance for the upcoming Fujifilm X-T3 camera.
