The initial list of features for the upcoming Canon EOS RP mirrorless camera have been leaked. The new EOS RP is said to be an entry-level full-frame mirror-less camera, priced at $1,599 and will have only one card slot. The official announcement of the EOS RP will be held on February 14, 2019.
Contrary to expectations, Canon will update thet EOS R ($2,299 at Amazon, B&H, Adorama) with a lower quality model. According to recent reports, the EOS RP will be cheaper and will capture 4K video from the 26MP sensor. This will definitely be a nice camera between the EOS M50 and EOS R.
