Leica SL2 Camera to be Announced in late 2019

According to recent rumors, the upcoming Leica SL2 will be announced later this year, around 3rd of 2019. Leica SL2 will feature with Leica Q2‘s 47MP full frame CMOS sensor. And there will be no Leica M11 in 2020, instead, a new camera called Leica M10X will be announced in 2020 with the 47MP sensor.

This new Leica SL2 is expected to replace the current Leica SL (Typ 601) model, which is now in stock at – Amazon | B&H | Adorama for $5,995.

Leica is also rumored to announce a new Leica M mount camera with EVF: 24MP sensor, body similar to the M240. The camera will have a native M mount and will be offered as an alternative to the M10.
