Fujifilm X-H1 announced with IBIS and touchscreen

The Fujifilm X-H1 is the most advanced X-series mirrorless camera to date with in-body image stabilisation, touchscreen control and improved video settings.

Fujifilm X-H1 mirrorless camera comes with 24.3 megapixel APS-C sized X-Trans CMOS III sensor and X-Processor Pro image processing engine. It is the first camera to feature in-body image stabilization (IBIS), a new Flicker Reduction mode and DCI 4K and impressive video capabilities.

The APS-c sensor MILC is able to shoot UHD 4K at up to 30p and it can also shoot the wider aspect ratio DCI 4K format (4096×2160) at 23.98 and 24p. There’s a new Eterna film simulation which emulates cinematic film, a high bit rate of 200 Mbps, F-log (8-bit) SD card recording, a 1080/120P high-speed mode, a new higher quality built-in microphone (24bit/48khz) and timecode support.

New firmware update extends functionality of mirrorless system camera FUJIFILM X-T20

FUJIFILM announces a firmware update for the mirrorless system camera FUJIFILM X-T20. The free update extends the Range of functions and improves the operation of the camera. With the new firmware, the X-T20 is compatible with the RAW conversion software “FUJIFILM X RAW STUDIO”.

This allows the RAW data directly in camera when connected to a computer via a USB cable. is bound. The update also provides photographers with advanced flash features in the Radio remote control of compatible studio flash units from other manufacturers. About that It also introduces a new algorithm for improved AF-C tracking.

Fujifilm X-E3 Firmware Ver 1.10 Released

Fujifilm has released firmware updates for its X-E3 and X-Pro2  camera bodies. The update to version 1.10 on the X-E3 adds auto geotagging and Date/Time synchronization by Bluetooth pairing and version 4.01 on the X-Pro2 fixes an issue that could occasionally cause the cameras to lock up.

To use this geotagging on X-E3, the application software “FUJIFILM Camera Remote” needs to be upgrade to the latest version Ver.3.1.0. You can download the Fujifilm remote app from the iTunes Store and Google Play Store.

Additional Fujifilm X-H1 camera details has been surfaced on the web. The hybrid mirrorless camera is said to be in development and expected to be announced in February, 2018.

The X-H1 is primarily targeted towards the videographers with in-camera stabilization and the ability to record at 120fps 1080 (4k fps will be lower).

Fujifilm X-T1, X-T20 and X100F Firmware Updates Released

Fujifilm released firmware updates for several of its current X-series cameras as X-T1X-T20 and X100F.

The Fuji X-T20 has one fix about a wrong display issue when  “HIGH PERFORMANCE” is set and X-T1 and X100F firmware adds support for “Instax SHARE SP-3″. On the other hand X100F now has support for the FUJIFILM X RAW STUDIO software that has been announced last month. This also changes the User’s Manual of the X100F. See the New Features Guide here.
