Tony Northrup made a test and put the latest mirrorless cameras for sports photography. The cameras he tested are the Sony a9, Sony a7R III, Sony a7 III, Canon EOS R, Nikon Z7 and Fujifilm X-T3.
The test includes continuous autofocus accuracy, subject tracking, frames per second, usability, and image quality. According to the ranking by Tony Northrup from worst to best, the Sony a9, a7R III, a7 III are better than Nikon Z7 and Canon EOS R. First rumors about the Fujifilm X-H2 camera are coming. The video-centric mirrorless to feature a 26MP X-Trans Sensor that will record DCI 4K videos at 60p.
Looks like the newly developed 26MP X-Trans 4 sensor and X-Processor 4 on Fuji X-T3 probably hit the X-H2 features. We know that the current X-H1 camera is limited to 8-bit 4:2:2 externally via HDMI. It comes with 5-axis IBIS but lacks DCI and 4K 60p recording.
