Fujifilm GFX 50R Medium Format Mirrorless Camera

Photokina 2018 : The new Fuji GFX50 R rangefinder-style medium format mirrorless digital camera announced.

Featuring a large 51.4MP G Format CMOS image sensor and X-Processor Pro image processing engine, the GFX 50R delivers superior image quality in a compact and lightweight body reminiscent of their renowned medium format film cameras widely used in street and documentary photography.

The GFX 50R is equipped with a 0.77×3.69M-dot organic “OLED” electronic viewfinder for accurate focusing and framing images. Weighing approximately 145g less than the GFX 50S, this camera offers intuitive handling in a rugged, weather-sealed body to meet the varying needs of photographers.

Capture One software now compatible with Fuji GFX and X series cameras

Capture One software from Phase One is now compatible with Fujifilm GFX and X Series cameras supporting RAW conversion and tethered shooting.

Future development will integrate Fujifilm Film Simulations with Capture One and provide enhanced tethered support for select professional Fujifilm cameras.

Meike Announce Battery Grip For Fuji X-T2

Meike has announced a new battery grip for the Fujifilm X-T2 mirrorless camera. This is the second product after the MEKE Meike Brackt Hand Grip MK-XT2G for Fujifilm X-T2.

MK-XT2 PRO series battery grip features a built-in 2.4g wireless remote control and can be operated within 100 meters of an open area. The MK-XT2 PRO battery grip features a shutter release button, Fn button, Q button, AE-L, AF-L, two-wheel dials and a joystick, you can access everything while holding your camera vertically.

Fujifilm GFX 100S Development Announcement on September 25

Along with the upcoming Fuji GFX50 R, the company will also announce the development of Fujifilm GFX 100S medium format mirrorless camera.

After the launch of the Fujifilm X-T3 APS-c mirrorless, we are going to meet the Fujifilm GFX 50R on September 25th, just ahead of Photokina 2018. The camera is expected to feature a 50MP medium format sensor.

Fujifilm X-T3 Officially Announced : 26MP, 4K/60p, Price $1,499

Fujifilm today unveiled the new Fujifilm X-T3 with an all-new back-illuminated 26.1MP X-Trans CMOS 4 sensor and X-Processor 4 processor.

The new X-T3 delivers superb image quality, dramatically improved AF performance, exceptional tracking performance of fast-moving subjects and blackout-free burst shooting. The X-T3 is also the first APS-C mirrorless camera capable of 4K/60P 10bit recording to meet the needs of professional videographers. The camera shoots continuously at 20 fps (e-shutter) or 11 fps (mechanical shutter) at full resolution, or at up to 30 fps in a 1.25x crop mode.

Full Fujifilm X-T3 Specs Leaked

Full Fujifilm X-T3 specificaions now available ahead of the official announcement. From the APS-c mirrorless camera X-T3 specs, the shooter will feature a new 26MP sensor and Monochrome adjustment film simulation.

From the X-T3 specs sheet we can see that the camera will offer blackout-free high-speed continuous shooting at the maximum speed of 30fps. It will be possible within a frame equivalent to 16.6-megapixels (1.25 times crop). Check out the rumored X-T3 specifications below. 

Fujifilm X-T3 announcement is scheduled to happen on September 6th. The camera will replace the X-T2. It will be made in China and feature 20fps burst speed like the Sony A9 ($4,498).
