Panasonic GX850 Compact MFT Camera Announced

Panasonic Lumix GX850 (GX800 and GF9 in some markets) ultra-compact Micro Four Thirds camera unveiled at the CES 2017 event.

The mirrorless shooter features a 16MP Four Thirds image sensor with no low-pass filter.  Derived from the GM-series, the camera powered by the Panasonic’s latest Venus Engine and Depth from Defocus autofocus system.

The LUMIX GX850 offers a newly integrated 4K PHOTO and 4K Video . The MFT camera records smooth, high-resolution QFHD 4K videos in 3840×2160 resolution at 30p/25p(50Hz Area) or 24p in MP4.

Panasonic 12-60mm F2.8-4.0 lens officially announced

Panasonic 12-60mm F2.8-4.0 standart zoom lens introduced at the CES 2017 event.

The lens is the first in the Leica DG Vario-Elmarit F2.8-4 premium series. The optic provides a focal length equivalent to 24-120mm on a Micro Four Thirds cameras. It has the support of Panasonic’s Dual IS system on compatible bodies to reduces camera shake.

Panasonic GH5 Mirrorless Camera Becomes Official

The flagship Panasonic GH5 Micro Four Thirds camera unveiled at the CES 2017 event.

Before jumping to the specs list, we have to underline that the camera features the World’s First 4K 60p/50p and 4K 30p 4:2:2 10- bit video recording function, as press text says.

The Panasonic GH5 camera comes with is a 20.3MP Digital Live MOS sensor and a newly developed Venus Engine processor. It also offers roughly 1.3x higher performance compared to previous models, according to Panasonic.

Panasonic is allegedly working on more MFT zoom lenses. New Leica DG f/2.8-4.0 Micro Four Thirds lenses are expected to be seen in the first half of 2017.
