Sharp 8K Micro Four Thirds Camera Prototype Spotted At CES 2019

Kinotika has published a new video of a new Sharp 8K Micro Four Thirds Camera. According to the video a Micro Four Thirds prototype camera being shown at CES 2019.

It has a 5-inch vari-angle screen, and records 8K video at 30fps. In order to record 8K video, the sensor needs to have a resolution of at least 33mp (7680×4320).

2019 Camera Predictions: Sony a7000, Nikon D760, Canon 7D Mark III

Tony & Chelsea Northrup have talked about the camera predictions for 2019. According to this, the Sony A7000, the Nikon D760, the Canon 7D Mark III is the leading camera for 2019. 2019 predictions include some surprises like a Sony 60mm f/0.94  and Olympus f/1.4 constant zoom lenses.

Tony says he noticed a trend at Fujifilm especially on fast lenses like XF200mmF2XF8-16mmF2.8XF33mmF1.0. According to his predictions, Fujifilm will launch Fujinon XF 400mm f/2.8, Fujinon XF 16-55mm f/1.8, Fujinon XF 50-120mm f/1.8, Fujinon XF 70mm f/1.0, Fujinon XF 16mm f/1.0. Meyer-Optik Goerlitz has announced its latest ‘world’s fastest’ f/0.95 lens, launching the Nocturnus 75mm f/0.95, priced at €1,899 on an early bird special.

Firmware Updates For Fujifilm X-H1, X-T2, X-Pro2, X-E3, X100F, X-T20 & GFX

Fujifilm has announced that new firmware updates for X-H1, X-T2, X-Pro2, X-E3, X100F & GFX coming soon, while they released the X-T20 firmware ver2.0.0 today.

The first firmware updates will arrive in late April and May for the Fujifilm X-series cameras and the updates reflect the feedback received by Fujifilm X Series users with regards to improving usability and adding new functions.

Fujifilm has officially announced the GF 250mm F4 R LM OIS WR medium format lens. The lens has a 35mm equivalent of around 200mm, which can be further extended via the 1.4x teleconverter also announced today.
