Fujifilm X-T20 and X100F Cameras Coming on January 19, 2017

Fujifilm X-T20 and X100F mirrorless cameras to be announced on January 19, 2017.

The Fuji X-T20 will replace the X-T10 which is already discontinued. The X00F will replace the X100T and a new addition to the X100-series lineup. The X100T is currently $200 off at $1,099 while the X-10 is selling for $799.

Both cameras will use the 24.3-megapixel APS-C X-Trans CMOS III sensor found on the X-Pro2 and X-T2 mirrorless cameras. More details after the break! … Continue reading


Leica SL Camera Firmware Update V2.2 Released

Leica released a new firmware V2.2 for the SL full-frame mirrorless camera. Along with the system upgrade, the company also announced the Summilux-SL 50 mm f/1.4 ASPH. lens.

Leica SL camera firmware update V2.2 adds improvement support for Leica Image Shuttle software. Also the shutter speed limitation reduced when shooting with 6-bit coded Leica M-Lenses.

Sony A6500 sensor reviewed by DxOMark

DxOmark has reviewed the Sony A6500 sensor and the mirrorless cameras shows off the same A6300 performance.

The high-end APS-c camera achieved a score of 85 points overall. This is just behind the A7-series full-frame E-mount models.

New Fujifilm X100F specs and details leaked

The X100 series will gain another member soon. New Fujifilm X100F specs and details has been leaked on the web.

We are really getting closer to the replacement for the X100T compact camera. It will be the X00F model where the “F” designation in the name is speculating to be the fourth model in the series. The Japanese company is said to announce this digital camera at Photokina 2016 in September. Unfortunately it has been delayed because of the Kumamoto earthquake in Japan.

The premium compact camera will have an APS-C-sized image sensor. As you know both the X100S and X100T have used a 16.3-megapixel APS-C-sized sensor. Sony is rumored to be developing six new lenses for its full frame E-mount system cameras. The new Sony lenses to be announced in the next six months period, sources say.

The FE 16-35mm f2.8 GM will be the next model in the GM-series. As expected it will have premium price because of the GM lens special feaures.

Finally it is here! Fuji has released the X-T2 firmware update version 1.10 officially.

The Fujifilm X-T2 firmware update v1.10 introduces tethered shooting function. This new addon allows users to connect the camera to a computer via a USB cable. It also allows you to capture and save your images directly onto computer, and control the camera from the computer.
