Fujifilm has announced the FUJINON XF2X TC WR teleconverter and the LH-XF23 lens hood for XF 23mm f/1.4 R lens.
The Fujinon XF2X TC WR is a new 2x teleconverter extending the telephoto reach of two X-mount lenses, the Fujinon XF 50-140mm F2.8 R LM OIS WR and XF 100-400mm F4.5-5.6 R LM OIS WR.
The Fujinon Teleconverter XF2X TC WR features an optical construction of 9 elements in 5 groups. It is weather and dust-resistant when used with the X-T1 and X-Pro2 camera bodies.
Phase detection AF is still available when using the XF 50-140mm F2.8 R LM OIS WR with the teleconverter mounted. With the XF 100-400mm F4.5-5.6 R LM OIS WR lens, photographers can use CDAF. DxOMark published their test results for the Zeiss Batis 85mm f/1.8 prime lens which is designed for Sony full-frame mirrorless cameras.
The test results shows the fast prime lens scored 39 points and performed an excellent optical performance. Currently selling for a price tag of $1,199, the optic has been tested using the Sony A7R full-frame E-mount camera.
From the Zeiss Batis 85mm f/1.8 test results, DxOMark finds that the lens offers uniform and strong resolution between f/4 and f/11.
