Canon is rumored to be working on a 100MP EOS R mirrorless camera with IBIS function. This is exciting because the company already reported to release a new 75MP+ Canon EOS R mirrorless camera to replace the current Canon EOS 5DS & 5DS R.
Rumors about a 100MP EOS R mirrorless camera with IBIS capabilities circulating over the web. So far we know there are talks about EOS APS-c, EOS R 8K and another PRO EOS R camera.
The prototypes with IBIS floating are currently being in testing by selected photographers. The 100MP Canon EOS R is expected to be announced in late 2019 to early 2020. Kinotika has published a new video of a new Sharp 8K Micro Four Thirds Camera. According to the video a Micro Four Thirds prototype camera being shown at CES 2019.
It has a 5-inch vari-angle screen, and records 8K video at 30fps. In order to record 8K video, the sensor needs to have a resolution of at least 33mp (7680×4320).
