Fujifilm has announced the GFX 50S medium-format digital camera development at the Photokina 2016.
The Fujifilm GFX 50S mirrorless camera will feature the new G Format 43.8 x 32.9mm sensor with a 51.4MP resolution. The camera is built around a new ‘G mount’ that will include zoom as well as prime lenses. Six new FUJINON GF Lenses that will be introduced sequentially in early 2017.
The first three lenses will be the GF 63mm F2.8 R WR, a GF32-64mm F4R LM WR and GF 120mm F4 Macro. These are expected in early 2017. The 0.79x crop means these are a 50mm, 25-50mm and 95mm equivalent, respectively.
These lenses will be followed by a GF 23mm F4 R LM WR and GF 110mm F2 in Mid 2017 and a GF 45mm F2.8 R WR in late 2017. Fujifilm GFX 50S with 63mm standard prime kit will be priced under $10,000. … Continue reading

Olympus has announced the development of its newest flagship camera at the Photokina 2016 event. The OM-D E-M1 Mark II is now official with 4K and 50MP high-res mode.
The new camera will feature a 20.4-megapixel Live MOS Micro Four Thirds sensor. It has an ISO range of 200-25,600, which can be expanded down to 64 ISO. It does not have an anti-aliasing filter.

Panasonic GH5 development announced at the Photokina 2016 event. The hybrid mirrorless camera will be the first to shoot 4K/60p and 10bit 4:2:2 internally.
The GH5 will also provide a 6K Photo mode that will extract 18MP stills from burst footage or 8MP stills from 60p 4K clips. The Panasonic GH5 camera is expected to be released in the first half of 2017. There is no details about sensor or the pricing of the camera yet.
