Sony FE 24mm f/1.4 GM Lens Coming Soon

According to recent rumors, Sony will announce a new FE 24mm f/1.4 GM lens for full-frame E-mount cameras soon.

The ultra-high-resolution G Master series lens lineup consists of mid-range FE 24-70mm f/2.8 GM zoom, a near-perfect FE 85mm f/1.4 GM portrait prime, and a telephoto staple in the form of the FE 70-200mm f/2.8 GM OSS.

The collection of includes the much desired focal lengths and apertures from 24 to 200mm, almost all the bases are covered but lacks a wide-angle GM prime lens. So next lens will probably be the Sony FE 24mm f/1.4 GM lens, sources say.

Sony FE 24mm f/1.4 GM Lens to be Announced soon

Sony FE 24mm f/1.4 GM will be the first answer to the recently announced Sigma 24mm f/1.4 DG HSM Art lens ($849).

The fast wide-angle prime will be designed for full-frame Sony E-mount mirrorless cameras, however it can also be used with APS-C models where it will provide a 36mm equivalent focal length.
