Official Canon EOS R Hands-on Videos

Here are the first videos of the Canon EOS R  full frame mirrorless camera. Canon EOS R officially announced with four new RF Lenses and mount adapters.

From the Canon EOS R specifications we can clearly say that this is a mirrorless version of the company’s EOS 5D Mark IV. The EOS R features a 30.3MP full frame image sensor, dual pixel RAW support, 8fps continuous shooting speed with crazy 5,655 points. The camera can capture 4K/30p video which can be output over HDMI at 4:2:2 (10-bit). Canon Log is supported right out of the box.

The EOS R will be available in October for $2299 body only or $3399 with the 24-105mm F4L lens. We’ll see if this price competes with Sony a7 III and the new Nikon Z6

The EOS R has a customizable multi-function touch bar, a new Fv exposure mode, a fully articulating LCD and an EVF with 3.69 million dots. Its Dual Pixel AF system has a whopping 5,655 selectable points and can focus down to -6EV with F1.2 lenses.  We also met new RF lenses within Canon full frame mirrorless camera announcement. These new Canon RF lenses are RF 24-105mm f/4L USM, RF 24-70mm f/2, RF 28-70mm f/2L USM, RF 35mm f/1.8 M IS, RF 50mm f/1.2L USM.
