FUJIFILM Released Firmware Updates for X-T2, X-T20, GFX 50S + Free X RAW STUDIO Software + X Acquire ver. 1.7

Fujifilm has announced its X Raw Studio Conversion System software and firmware updates for the X-T2, X-T20 and GFX 50S camera.

The software is essentially a viewer for the in-camera Raw converters that already exist on X and GFX series cameras. Fujifilm claims that X Raw Studio is more than twenty times faster than the SilkyPix-based converter. The macOS version is available for download today, with a Windows application to follow in February.

The software adjusts exactly the same parameters as on the camera and supports batch processing and saving conversion profiles. As of today only the GFX 50S and X-T20 are supported, with the X-Pro2 and X100F to follow in December, all via firmware updates.

Sources are claiming that the upcoming Fujfilm X-H1 camera will probably feature a 24MP full-frame image sensor and max shutter speed of 1/32000s.

First Fujifilm X-T2 images has been leaked online as the X-mount MILC has been spotted on a dealer website.

Fujifilm is allegedly working hard on several new cameras and lenses for 2016. One of them is the X-T2 mirrorless model which is expected to be announced before the Photokina 2016 show in September.

The listing for the Fujifilm X-T2 at eBay UK shows the camera from the front with the XF 10-24mm f/4 R OIS lens. Currently the listing has been removed but when it was live the price were GBP 1,999 with the kit.

Trusted sources are reporting that the company has listened to its fans and that the Fujifilm XF 23mm f/2 lens is in the works. The wide-angle optic is said to become available this year at the Photokina 2016 event in September.

If it becomes a reality, then the lens will be compatible with all X-mount cameras, including the flagship X-Pro2 model. It will have a maximum aperture of f/2 and provide a full-frame focal length equivalent of 35mm.

Fujifilm has released firmware update 1.01 for its flagship X-Pro2 mirrorless interchangeable lens camera.

Firmware update version 1.0.1 for Fujifilm X-Pro2 fixes a phenomenon that in rare cases, established customized menu settings are reset to factory default setting when the camera is turned off.

Fujifilm is rumored to announce several new cameras and lenses in 2016 and one of them is the X-T2 mirrorless model which is expected to be capable of recording videos at 4K resolution.

During an interview with the Fujifilm Managers Shugo Kiryu at French website Focus-Numerique, it is now confirmed that the upcoming Fujifilm X-T2 will definitely have 4K video recoding feature.

When we look at the previous rumors, we can also say that the Fuji X-T2 could also feature 120 fps video recording at 1080p resolution. The specs list might include improved continuous AF with 10fps shooting.
